This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit this website or contact Khamsouk Souvanlasy about services. It applies to this website and does not control third-party websites linked from it.
Khamsouk Souvanlasy decides why enquiry information is collected and used. Netlify processes website and form information as a hosting and form service provider.
Email enquiries
When you submit the New Email form, the website collects your email address, enquiry subject, message and any personal information you choose to include. The form does not request file uploads, payment details or identity documents. Please do not include confidential or sensitive information unless it is necessary and agreed in advance.
The form is processed using Netlify Forms. Netlify stores form submissions and separates verified and suspected spam submissions in the site administration area. Netlify may also send a copy of a verified submission to Khamsouk by email.
This information is used to respond to your enquiry, decide whether to accept the requested work, discuss possible services, manage an engagement and maintain necessary business records. Enquiry details are not added to a marketing list without separate permission.
If you contact Khamsouk directly by email, the email providers involved will receive the address you send from, the subject, message content and any information included in your signature or attachments.
Spam filtering and security
Netlify filters form submissions for spam using automated services, including Akismet. The form may also use a hidden honeypot field that is intended to identify automated submissions. These checks may classify a submission as verified or spam.
Reasonable steps are taken to limit access to submissions and protect the website, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Cookies and Google Analytics
The website does not require an account and does not need cookies for its main navigation. Google Analytics may be enabled on the deployed website to understand page visits, general traffic sources and how visitors use the site.
When Google Analytics is enabled, it may use first-party cookies such as _ga and collect information including session activity, approximate location, browser and device details. Email addresses and message contents are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics.
You can block or delete cookies using your browser controls. Google also provides a browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics measurement.
Hosting and technical information
The website is hosted on Netlify. Netlify and related content delivery, security and analytics services may process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser and device details, referring page and error information. This information may be used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, maintain security, diagnose faults and understand aggregate usage.

Retention and disclosure
Form submissions that do not lead to an engagement are normally deleted from Netlify within 12 months. Copies contained in email notifications and related correspondence may be retained for the same period.
Information connected with active or completed engagements may be kept longer where needed to deliver services, maintain appropriate business and financial records, resolve disputes, establish or defend legal rights, or meet legal obligations. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required for these purposes.
Information may be handled by service providers that support website hosting, form processing, spam filtering, analytics and email. It may also be shared with professional advisers, or disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and website security. Personal information collected through the enquiry form is not sold.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information is held in connection with an enquiry, or request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Submit a request through the contact form. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate business records.
You can avoid submitting the form if you do not want the information processed through Netlify. You can also block or delete analytics cookies using your browser controls.
